Read the instructions carefully. Not sure at the moment if you need to upgrade in steps.

Backup your data!

However, I would disable partner firmware update, then update controller A, then B directly from the device web page.

And by the way, check the disk firmware too, unfortunatelly you need to check every different disk model.
