P2000 G3 iSCSI x4 and ESXi 4.1 MPIO performance

Hi, I have a setup exactly as the one in:

Configuration best practices for deploying VMware vSphere 4.1 on the HP P2000 G3 MSA Array combo controller

http://h20195.www2.hp.com/V2/GetPDF.aspx/4AA3-3801ENW.pdf

One vSwitch and two dedicated NICs vmnic3 and vmnic4 teamed to vmk1 and vmk2 (as active and unused as the tutorial says). Everything on different subnets and VLAN's. Two P2000 G3 iSCSI ports active on each controller (dual). Also set the IOPS to 1 and tried  different bytesizes.

The issue is performance. I am getting around 800-880Mbit/s using either one or two gigabit-links (400+400) with roundrobin and MPIO. This is measured by esxtop and using hdparm -t /dev/sdaX in a VM. I would expect (maxing out) around 17-1800Mb/s for an 8 disk 10k 300GB RAID10 vDisk (single volume)...

Could someone please help me out here? What could be the issue? :smileysad:
