P2000 LUN configuration for HP UX 11.31

Hello Team, 

We have an urgent issue related to a crash pertaining to lost access to a LUN on a P2000G3 hence have elevated this case for assistance based on the P2000G3 logs. 

Upon searching for known issue we came across http://h41302.www4.hp.com/km/saw/view.do?docId=emr_na-c03470756&hsid=78589885&sz=9346 which indicate that for HP-UX we need to Change the LUN response from NOT READY to ILLEGAL REQUEST. 

Also does this change require a Downtime for all Hosts ?

I am not sure if you had controller crash or missing LUN issue.......but it's always suggested to do correct configuration........yes this requires downtime and restart of host to rescan all volumes presented at host,
