Persistent Bad Disk in MSA1000

I'm seeing persistent failed disk in Bay #2, even though swapping to 3 new disks, the orange light reappears and the drive is marked failed.

I'm relucatant to say it's a bad drive bay until I hear if this is a common problem with the MSA. Does it require a reboot?

The MSA has firmware 4.32.B300.
