Problem with 5.3.0b firmware upgrade
I recently upgraded two 4/32B switches to 5.3.0b from 5.0.1. I see no problem status reported during the upgrade.
The switches work fine, EXCEPT the Web interface. I am interfacing into the 5.3.0b switches on a Solaris 8 platform, running Java 1.5.0_06 via a Firefox 2 web browser. (web Tool license appears valid).
The web browser calls a window asking to download the switchExplorer.html (vs. executing?).
My other switches, still at 5.0.1 and 5.1.0 will respond to the web browser.
I'm at a loss as what to do.

Re: Problem with 5.3.0b firmware upgrade
OK I got it. The problem is not with the configuration, but with the USER.
The failing sessions were all started as the ROOT user. I tried a FIREFOX session as a normal USER and the Web Tool Interface responded as documented.
Thanks,
Mark.
