Q: Remote power up of an HSV110 after shutdown - is it possible

Is it possible to power up an HSV110 controller after it has been shutdown?
eg. By via Command View EVA?

Hi David,

No it is not possible, The power has to be cycled before you can access the HSV110 controller, through command view EVA.

Try the restart option instead of the shutdown.

If its on a UPS ou might be able to remote control the UPS to give it the power cycle

If the disk drive enclosures have been powered down they will need a cycle, too.
