RACK RAILS: HP MSA 2012i and HP MSA 2040

Are they 'interchangeable'??

We are getting a new MSA 2040 to replace the 2012i, they are both 2U devices.

Will the RACK RAILS for the MSA 2012i work with the MSA 2040??

Since the chassis is still the same, IMHO yes.

Wow. I didn't expect such a quick reply. Thank you.

We will try leaving the current 2012i rails on the rack then try sliding the new 2040 into them and see what happens.
