RSM Snapshot causes Event ID 51

I have a server running Windows 2000 SP4 and SQL 2000. I'm using RSM to create a snapshot of a LUN presented by an EVA6000 that contains a SQL database. I'm getting an Warning in the System Log with an event ID of 51 with the description "An error was detected on device \Device\Harddisk5\DR10 during a paging operation" exactly when the Snapshot is created. I have frozen all the Databases with DBUTIL at this point. Is this just a meaningless message or should I be concerned?
