Release of controller firmware GL225P001 for HPE MSA 1040, HPE MSA 2040, and HPE MSA 2042

Howdy All!

Just wanted to announce the release of controller firmware GL225P001 for HPE MSA 1040, HPE MSA 2040, and HPE MSA 2042.  This firmware was released last week and is the most current version.

Hi Brice13,

The MSA 2040 went End of Life (Dec 2017) and this firmware release (GL225P001) is a support release and did not add additional features or support.

Yep! thats painful $$$ (no support for esxi 6.7 and msa 2040)

I'm using esxi 6.7 and the MSA 2040 - I'm getting some weird results that you don't get with 6.5 - having to find workarounds - I've doucmented them in other postings (watch out for disks with different sector format sizes in the same virtual disk pool)
