Reset Enclosure Numbers for MSA 2040
Hi,
Trying to cut a long story short, I have an MSA P2040 Head Unit that used to have 4 expansion shelves. I'm re-using this elsewhere and adding two completely different expansion shelves we had from elsewhere. Once it was cabled up and powered on, the two expansions got the enclosure numbers 6 and 7 because it's continued on from how it was previously configured.
Is there a way to reset the enclosure numbers or am I better off factory resetting it?

Re: Reset Enclosure Numbers for MSA 2040
Hello,
You can only dreorder the enclosure numbers using the CLI. This is non-disruptive to host IO and can be run at any time the system is fully powered on.
CLI # rescan
Cheers,
Shawn
