Slow backup

Hi;
We have an eva3000 with 3 Novell, 1 Win2k and 2 Tru64 Alphas connected: The non-unix boxes backup to a 4-Drive Comm-Vault Galaxy system at just over 100 GB/hr: the unix boxes only run at 30 GB/hr. I looked at syscheck and see this error message:

Any ideas, anyone? Thanks. . .
