Steps to Decommission a server from EVA and Cisco switch
Hi Comrades,
Could anyone share the steps to Decommission a server from EVA and Cisco switch.
If anyone can send me or attach SOP, that would be of great help.
Regards,
Kalyan Guturi.

Re: Steps to Decommission a server from EVA and Cisco switch
1. Shut the server down
2. Disconnect the fibre cables from the server
3. Delete the server's zones on the Cisco switch(es)
4. On the EVA, unpresent the vdisks.
5. IF the server storage is not going to be presented to an alternate server, delete the vdisks.
Note: While I am an HPE Employee, all of my comments (whether noted or not), are my own and are not any official representation of the company

You should also delete the Host entry for that server on the EVA.
