could you share the case number that you have raised with HPE, ill go ahead and check it out and make sure it gets resolved at the earliest.

Hi Raju,

 

Firmware upgrade will not fix QTOF disk group issue.

Did the QTOF disk group start appearing after adding / replacing a new disk?

It could appear from left over meta data on replacement disk.

If the Pool is indeed reporting fault and one of the disk groups is in QTOF state, it requires a support case and engineering team engagement. 

Please share the case id in a private note so that we could check further.

I have professional HP Engineer engagement  as this critical.

All my or other IT guys fear of not updating firmwares from date of purchase. failure to not installing new firmwares HP has put timer on these storage SANS and this is sthe main reason I got stuck

the SAS disk time-out link for not not doing firmware. https://h41111.www4.hpe.com/storage/msafirmware.html

my case is still pending.
