SureStore FC 4/1 and Jukebox 2200mx

Hi guys,
If somebody can help me on these questions:
1. Is it possible to connect Jukebox 2200mx to the SAN? I've got SureStore Bridge FC 4/1. In the Installation and Operation guide version 5 is written that only PPP connection is supported.
2. Can I use Emulex lp8000 for PPP connection to SureStore FC 4/1

Here is a doc, yes you can use in a SAN environment.

I know this marketing material but I don't trust marketing materials especially when they contradict with the technical documentation.
