TS3100 point-to-point with HP StorageWorks 42B HBA

Hi,

I'm having trouble to point-to-point connect IBM TS3100 Tape Library to my HP 42B HBA. I''ve configured the HBA for p2p mode and the tape drive is configured as N-port. I can see the Tape Library in HCM for short moments before remote port is going offline and error message in log "MAJOR Remote port (WWN = 20:02:00:0E:11:13:46:3D) connectivity lost for logical port (WWN = 10:00:00:05:33:26:CA:E1). Login nexus with remote port is lost."

Any advises would be mostly welcome.
