Upgrade of CA License from 4000 to 6400

Hi,
our disaster recovery environment was based until a couple of month ago on two EVA infrastructures. The EVA 8100 is the local storage while the EVA 4000 was the remote one. The two storages were configured with EVA CA (Continous Access unlimited license) in fact we bought the T5357A (HP Cont Access EVA4K Ser Unlimited LTU) and an T5363A (HP Continuous Access EVA8000 Series Unlimited Software License). Then the EVA 4000 has been replaced by a new EVA 6400 but the new license for CA procured (T5374A HP Cont Acc EVA3K/4K Upg to 6K Unlim LTU), although has been accepted by CV do not permit the CA to work. I suspect that I need another license, but which one?
Thanks'

Hi Pierluigi,

there is no upgrade license between EVA4k and EVA6400. You need a new license for your EVA 6400 CA TA668A.

Re: Upgrade of CA License from 4000 to 6400

Thomas, this is a really bad new.I'm surprised about two things:
First because the CV on the EVA 6400 has accepted the "incorrect" license, and second why HP make me the configuration with this license code instead the correct one.

Thanks'.
