Hello,
I'm a bit new using San Storage, I have an HP P2000, the scenario is that the web access to our SMU had some problem due to power outage, and therefore made 1 of our disk had amber light, i followed steps on rebuilding the disk and now already has rejoin in the raid. After couple of days i was checking the SMU and cannot find the vdisk vd01 in the SMU explorer under (Logical>Vdisks), is there any steps that i can find a way to get it back there, i have included the snapshot of the SMU before & After, now vdisk showing 0 count. Thank you in advance.

Re: Virtual Disk (vd01 raid 5) not showing in SMU after controller restart
Try clearing the browser cache.
Can you see the vdisk from the CLI?

SolutionHello Johan,
Thanks for replying, i have managed to bring my systems heartbeat back.. woohoo. I try to reset the controller B by removing it and putting it back in, because i also have a degraded warning on the chassis, I waited patiently for about 15 minutes (fingers crossed) and voila' the system is now working great with no errors. Also the Vdisk (vd01) is now visible in the explorer of the SMU. I can also communicate with it through webUI. Thanks Again & Have a nice day :)

Re: Virtual Disk (vd01 raid 5) not showing in SMU after controller restart
Hi,
Connect to another controller and check.
Connect using CLI and check might be a GUI issue only.

Re: Virtual Disk (vd01 raid 5) not showing in SMU after controller restart
Or you can also use cli command restart mc
instead of rebooting complete MSA
