What software should be used for EVA 4400
Hi,
We have a storage box EVA 4400 that has been connected to our Blade Servers.
Right now we are using Command View to manage the storage box.
I need some suggestion that what are the other software we can use to Monitor, Manage the HP Hardware.
As most of the time we are facing a problem in getting the upto date report of the
"Health Check list of the hp storage and Servers. "

Re: What software should be used for EVA 4400
Hi,
You can use CV to monitor it - everything should be green - if not investigate it.
You can set up SNMP traps in CV.
You can install WEBES on your management server running CV. Get it from here:
http://h18000.www1.hp.com/support/svctools/webes/index.html
You can use SIM and IRS from HP as well. This should help:
http://h18013.www1.hp.com/products/servers/management/hpsim/techsupport.html?jumpid=hpr_R1002_USEN
You can also go and look at the EVA as well.
