Windows 2012 Install on MSA2040 SAN
Hi All
Situation: Trying to install Windows Server 2012 R2 with OS on the MSA2040 SAN through iSCSI
Problem: Windows Server 2012 R2 installation cannot see my LUN.
Environment:
Server: HPDL360 Gen9 with HPE FlexFabric 534FLR-SFP+
Switch: HP 5700
SAN: MSA 2040
From the switch, I can successfully ping the SAN. I cannot ping the server, even though the BIOS is configured for static IPv4 during pre-boot. .
On the server, I have slipstreamed the HPE FF534 Drivers to the USB installation media (Used Rufus install to allow the NTFS on UEFI).
I have had some iSCSI errors on the server bios when using IPv4 only, but with IPv6 on, the errors are gone.
I have my Initiator configured and mapped to the Target Volume on the SAN, no errors on the SAN.
Have I missed any pertinent details that might help?
Thanks
.c
