connect msa20 to dl380g4

hi. i want to connect an msa20 to a dl380g4.
the dl380g4 has 8 disks installed and a p600 (sas) controller. the external connector is SAS and i want to connect it to a msa20.

the p600 page list this cable:
1 Meter SFF8470 to SFF8470 External Wide SAS Cable 389665-B21
but cant find pictures of the cable and see if they have the correct connectors.

also, the p600 page says:
http://h18000.www1.hp.com/products/quickspecs/12247_div/12247_div.html

"Eight (8) SAS physical links distributed across 2 internal x4 wide port connectors and 1 external x4 wide port connector. One of the internal x4 wide port connector shares 4 physical links with the external x4 wide port connector. When the shared internal x4 wide port connector is in use, the shared external x4 wide port is disabled."

How can i check if my external por is disabled?
if the p600 is not viable, what other card can i use? this is a temporary solution, so cheap card can do it jut fine, but which one?

Re: connect msa20 to dl380g4

This MSA is SCSI, not SAS:

Hope this helps!

Re: connect msa20 to dl380g4

indeed and i forgot to mentin that.
So my options will be:
Smart Array 6404, Smart Array 6402, Smart Array 642 and the Smart Array 6i Controllers

to connect to the U320 on the msa right?
