create multiple IQN for HP MSA 2040 storage

Dear all,

we are using this HP MSA 2040 storage, from the web UI, we noticed the IQN is:

iqn.1986-03.com.hp:storage.msa2040.XXXXXXXXXX  (X is just some numbers)

we want o ask if it is possible to create multiple IQN for this same storage & HOW? We need multiple IQN because we are going to set up RedHat virtualization by using this HP MSA 2040 as storage system & RedHat requires we use multiple IQN.

MSA 2040 can see multiple IQns (via web console), each iqn for one physical host connection. There is no option in MSA to generate multiple IQNs for the single connection.

The workaround is we can have multiple IQns on the host VMS ( redhat VMs or redhat machines) and then add each iqn in the MSA2040 host list.. so all redhat iqns will be listed in MSA host list.. then do explicit mappings to each iqn ( host) as per your requirement
