edge switch 2/12
I've configured HP/Brocade's before, but not the McData's. I have a 2/12 that I've configured with only 2 devices, in a zone together, but they don't talk. Am I missing something? The configuration doesn't seem too difficult, but I must be missing something.

Re: edge switch 2/12
Not sure I understand your question. Are you trying to merge B-Series (Brocade) and M-Series (McData) switches into a single fabric?
If so, you will want to read "HP StorageWorks Fabric Interoperability: Merging Fabrics Based on M-Series and B-Series Fibre Channel Switches Application Notes (AA-RUQQG-TE, December 2006)"

Re: edge switch 2/12
The McData is in a standalone configuration, I was just mentioning that I have experience with the Brocades. Alas, I have performed 3 firmware updates on the McData (it's been sitting around unused for a year) and the devices are talking to each other. I really think it was just a reboot of the server that did the trick though. Thanks for the response.
