Hi,
I've tried to upgrad the firmware of the hba fc2101 with lp6dutil.exe. While writing the new flash, my fdd crashes. now i can't use the hba. is there a possibility to reset the hba?

Michael,

If memory serves me correctly, if the flash of the HBA fails, you have to get it replaced.

I'm sure an HP rep can confirm this

I had a simular problem with flashing a fca2214 (ql2312). server stopped (powered down ) while flashing and when it came up the card gave an I/O rom error. I restarted the flash and works fine again (maybe I was lucky).

try that, maybe it helps.
