find WWN on HBA FCA2214

Is there a way to retrieve the WWN on a FCA2214 without rebooting the machine ??

Using Windows OS fwiw...

You could look into the SAN switch and check the port no. the HBA is connected to in the Name Server table. That should give you the WWN.

Or you could run LPUTILNT, which will show you the WWN of any Emulex adapter in the server.

Steve,

fca2214 is a OEM Qlogic card and on the qlogic website their is a utility that can be run online called 'sanblade control'
or 'sansurfer HBA' which allows you to configure and view details of the qlogic qla2342 i.e. type of cards.
