how to check if SSP is enabled or disabled.
Hi,
I wonder, if there is a way to connect MSA1000 without ACU. I need to check, is SSP is enabled or disabled.
I cant see MSA1000 from server side, on switches I can see connected ports.

Re: how to check if SSP is enabled or disabled.
If you have the black MSA cable you can connect to the controller(s) via the port on the front. Use a laptop and HyperTerm or other prog. Its a serial connection so you will need to set the params 19200, no,8,1, no flow i think. Hit the enter a couple times and type show support -all or...show tech_support. Pipe the output to file. the details should show if the acls are setup.
