i cant config my hp p2000 NIC to connect G7

I have hp p2000 and i want connect it to my G7 by fiber port and i dont know how configure my hp p2000 NIC in my G7 server

You may need to modify both the Standard Boot Order and Boot Controller Order in RBSU. Make sure the SAN HBA is listed before the local disk controller.

What is the NIC/HBA that is used to boot from SAN?

What is the BIOS version of the server and HBA?

What is the Operating System installed on the local disk and on SAN?

There is nothing special from Storage end. It's same like how you present volume to a host. Adding a host. Then create a volume and present it through Host ports to the Host.

Now at the Host or server you need to configure Boot from SAN at the HBA. For that you refer "HPE Boot from SAN Configuration Guide",

Hello,

Your post keep stating you want to connect the P2000 to your NIC. Yet the screen shot shows a FC HBA. These two protocols do not connect without something special inbetween that may not be supported by either the P2000 array or the DL380 server.

Please describe what protocol you are trying to connect. iSCSI or FC? Remember it has to be one similiar protocol on both the array and the server for this to work correctly.

Also, which version of ESXi are you using? The P2000 is an EOL array and does not support newer versions of ESXi. The newer OS does have some features when using boot from SAN that may not be compatable with the P2000.
