msa 500 new rso status of evTimeout
We've got a now older msa 500 SCSI storage array that has been running trouble-free in a 24/7/365 uptime scenario. (Really, 24/7/365 OR ELSE!)
We don't mess with stuff that is working and this MSA has been working for years.
Buuut. I have the following occasional error in the Windows server Event Viewer.
Storage System Recovery Server Option Status Change. Storage system "MY_RAID_A" has a new RSO status of 14.
followed shortly therafter by:
Storage System Recovery Server Option Status Change. Storage system "MY_RAID_A" has a new RSO status of 3.
14 is evTimeout, 3 is notConfigured. I'm lead to believe it has something to do with a bios option that is enabled and without the RSO feature, this is setting off the snmp error. Can anyone confirm/deny?
