msa p2000 G3 and LUN's

Hi all,

 

Im just trying to understand thr LUN config on my msa p2000 G3.

If i create a new volume i can direct within the wizzard map the new volume to the hba's but LUN nummber is allways "o" which is inside the field. But every volume should have own LUN nuber, so do i have by myself give the LUN nummbers to the volumes, i thought the system will assign the correct lUN number to each volume.

Hope someone here can help me.

Hi,

 

Yes, you must assign LUN numbers to volume manually.
