msa30 scsi connection problem
hi expert
i have an msa30 connected to 2 windows server 2003 servers through scsi ports. i have moved the servers and maybe i have mixed the cables so the scsi cable which was connected to server 1 is now connected to server 2 and the cable wich was connected to server 2 is now connected to server 1 and the result is the volumes are not visible. can you clarify for me why? the configuration is stored on the disks or the smart array?
P.S. This thread has been moevd from General to Storage Area Networks (SAN) (Small and Medium Business). - Hp Forum Moderator
