quick question for HP MSA 2000 storage
apologies for I am not a storage person and not that familiar w/ msa2000.
how can i re-activate a disk that was mistakenly pulled out from msa 2000 storage without losing any data?

Hello @jintogens,
When you have pulled out the disk, certainly the spare disk would have kicked in. If there were no spares, the data would have rebuilt using the parity disk of the RAID configuration. In either of the scenarios, there will not be any data loss. Then, you can put the pulled-out disk back in place just like a new disk (spare or active).

You probably need to clear the metadata of this disk before you can use it again. Check the status!
