there are 2 copies of firmware image stored in the EEPROM, and seems like one copy got corrupt. In addition, you have old firmware in the switches. Latest is 2.6.0.
So please call HP and order firmware update ASAP

My apologies for hijacking your thread, but I have the same problem and would like to clarify something with Eugeny.
Eugeny, will the FW upgrade clear the corrupt cache? Or is there something else that could be done to get rid of the error?

I am using two hp 2/16 switches.I am not able to even boot the second switch after i did all switch completely and thats why cant telnet to it or see any errors.
please help

Do you link two switches in one fabric?If it is,you need to remove one switch from this fabric,then change it's domain ID.
If no,you need to contact HP to replace the switch.
