u320e and MSL2024 tape with VMware ESXi

I want to move our ARCserve backup function to a VMware ESXi guest running on a DL380G5.  Can anyone point me to some documentation about this.  I have u320e Linux drivers / configuration tool supplied with the HBA, but I would like to verify that this will work with VMware ESXi 4.0 U1.
