How to edit sendmail.cf in HP-UX to send e-mail to xx@gmail.com

Hi Experts,

I'm trying to send e-mail to xxx@gmail.com or to my other company id... using mailx command and it hangs for hours...

please let me know of how to send accross them...

which mail relay server you use for sending mail in your company domain?MS exchange or sendmail?

you can configure sendmail to send mail to the relay server.

Hi Mannoj,

Sendmail requires few things.

1.The sendmail service should be running
2.The port Should be opened from network we have check for the file /etc/services.
3.Then configuring sendmail.
