Send email to Bulletin Board

We recently upgraded our openmail server from version 5 to version 7. In our version 5 it was possible to send an email to a submap of a bb as follows. I made a entry in the alias file +BB/intern////////HPMEXT1/Name_of_the_BB\>Name_of_submap
When we upgraded the openmail to version 7, it suddenly stopped working. The mails are still being send and deliverd, but not in the submap, the mails are being deliverd in the root map. Anyone any suggestion ?

Re: Send email to Bulletin Board

Do you have your system "patched" ?? I'd use the custom patch manager, then I'd refer back to the documentation and release notes.

Latest patch is Openmail June 02 Periodic patch.
And the release notes aren't of any help

Re: Send email to Bulletin Board

Benoit,

things have changed in v7. The smtp relay (if turned on) listens on port 25 for incoming connections instead of sendmail and performs a lookup of that address in the system directory. Also, have you run "omsendin"? There are also changes made to the sendmail.cf file to run with v7.

Re: Send email to Bulletin Board

Problem is solved by replacing the > sign by the ascii value #062#
thanks to the openmail-support team
