Sendmail DSN: Data format error

Hi All,

We have an intermittent sendmail issue from one our hp-ux server. On Nov-08 the mail was not sent.As per checking mail logs On Nov-08 we have data format error, so the mail was not sent. But following days it was working fine.

Shalom,

Most likely this system or system designated in sendmail.cf as DS relay is not accepting relay.

Mail relay has to be explicitly set up.
