Sendmail TimeZoneInfo
Hello,
I am using sendmail as mail server, and outlook as client. But there is always one hours of difference between the send time on my client and the time it arrives. I performed some test with the paramater TimeZoneInfo and I saw changes in the mail.log file but on my client nothing changes.
Any idea's

Re: Sendmail TimeZoneInfo
Is timezone on both machines same? you can specify time in sendmail.cf
if undefined takes from system TZ, if defined and null still takes from system TZ, if defined and non-null takes it.

Re: Sendmail TimeZoneInfo
Hi,
you can force sendmail to use proper time zone information by this parameter in sendmail.cf
# time zone handling:
# if undefined, use system default
# if defined but null, use TZ envariable passed in
# if defined and non-null, use that info
#O TimeZoneSpec=

U.SivaKumar

Re: Sendmail TimeZoneInfo
Sorry, I gave the wrong info
Off course I test with TimeZoneSpec and not with TimeZone info
