Upgrade Sendmail 8.14.1

Is anyone running the latest version of sendmail 8.14.1 or later.
Due to a security audit that came up as a Category 1 security risk. I would need a good justification of why I am staying at 8.13.3.

It seems like Sendmail 8.14.1 only exists for Tru64 UNIX ....

Hi, I looked at all my 5 forums and I see what you mean but I guess I did not realize that I needed to assign points for all responses even if they were the same person. I will have good etiquette and assign points to all responses.

On a final note, I have been finding that the forums are the best way to get an answer. It is more timely and informaative than calling the support desk.

Yeah - that's true.

But for your question - you should be more exactly in your question.
What os do you have?
Is it Tru64 UNIX?

I am not running Tru64. We have four Itanium 64 running 11.23.

I would not recommend running any compiled sendmail release on HP-UX.

That is the latest port and if you have problems and a software contract HP will help you.

You are reliant on the user community if you use a compiled sendmail release. HP did some work porting the release above and making it safe for HP-UX.
