Use dtmail with gmail

Is there a way to configure dtmail to use the gmail's pop3 server for downloading emails? Does this work with entries in .mailrc? Thanks for any help.

I thought that .mailrc is only for mailx(1) and mail?

Apparently dtmail reads .mailrc by default and has the option to support the POP3 protocol... at least in Tru64:

If original poster's dtmail (of undisclosed OS version) supports the same options, it should be possible.
