base64 encoding

I have a script which uses munpack to handle attachments. Most times they are in mime format, once in a while they come in base64.

Munpack does not handle base64. Is there a similar utility that will handle mime, uuencode and base64 using only one utility?

Hi Ray,

Have a look at UUDeview, as this automatically detects: MIME, Base64, BinHex, uuencode and (less frequently used) xxencode

Exists in Unix, Windows and DOS versions
