send mail confirmation in syslog

why am I receiving these sendmail confirmation messages in my syslog?

It could be that you LogLevel option in sendmail.cf is set very low or your /etc/syslog.conf is logging mail at a very low level (e.g mail.info).
If it ain't broke, I can fix that.

syslog.conf has been changed(probably) and the syslogd daemon restared.

The default file for sendmail logging is /var/adm/mail.log

These are the messages that normally appear in /var/adm/syslog/mail.log.

Chance are the syslog.conf was changed for the mail logging as well.
