sendmail.cf DS question?
Our sendmail was configured by one of our consultant few months ago. Now I need to change the settings and could not find the file. The one in the /etc/mail was back in year 2000. Where else I can find this file? Also, can I change the sendmail settings (DS?) to forward all SMTP mails to my internal smart host? Thank you,

Re: sendmail.cf DS question?
Have a look at the sendmail startup file in /sbin/init.d
the file /sbin/init.d/sendmail should give you the idea where the configuration files are for this sendmail (usually in /etc/mail, but as you said maybe they are kept somwhere else if configured differently).
Also yes you can change the DS (SMART relay host) to your internal SMTP mail server

Re: sendmail.cf DS question?
sendmail.cf should be in /etc/mail
On HP-UX, sendmail binary should be in /usr/sbin/ - which is a symbolic link to:
/usr/contrib/sendmail/usr/sbin/sendmail
And yes, set DS to your internal mail server.
You may also want to set the DM macro as well to your domain (external) name.
