sendmail not starting after upgradation

Hi All,
I have an HP-UX 11.0 server ran with sendmail 8.9.3 version.As there are secutity vulnerabilities on that version I upgraded by installing Sendmail version 8.11.1. But after installing Sendmail Version 8.11.1 my sendmail is not starting at all.
I have compared and checked the permission of sendmail, /etc, /etc/mail, and all files in /etc/mail directory with the other systems what I have upgraded successfully. But no clue.
I have attached the error. Can somebody throw some light on this problem.

well htere was no need to upgrade the sendmail, as version 8.11.1 is ALSO affected, and you still have to fix it as per hte Security Bulletin!
But from your log, it appears there may be incompatibilities between the sendmail.cw files of the versions.

I am working a call almost like this with another customer. For right now, we went back to 8.9.3 an applied the binary sendmail.893.11.00.gz. After we solve this, I will post the solution. Right now, I recommend you run
/usr/bin/enable_inet -r sendmail to revert back to 8.9.3 and apply that binary, in order to keep your sendmail secure.

Where can I get the binary ?? Was looking for a patch at the HP site, but couldn't find it. You have a patch or binary to solve the vulneribility issue from sendmail ??

Please let me know where I can find it.

swlist -l product | grep sendmail

Since you isntalled the binaries they should show up in swlist.

swlist -i and poke around.

Here is an excellent post that will help you get sendmail 8.9.3 patched and functional, with the vulnerabilities eliminated until HP comes out with 8.12.8 in a patch:

Hi Berlene,
As u said I reverted back to old 8.9.3 version and applied the binary sendmail.893.11.00.gz to make my sendmail secure. I just removed the link /usr/sbin/sendmail which points to /usr/contrib/sendmail/usr/sbin/sendmail and copied the sendmail.893.11.00 to /usr/sbin/sendmail . After that my sendmail works with 8.9.3 version but I need to upgrade to 8.11.1. Please post me the solution once you resolved the same type of case.
