Re: SCOM07 Proliant MP troubleshooting

i sent an email or two to the address suggested but never got a response.

the day after this issue occurred, i went back into the health explorer for the power supply, and at that time it DID show state changes during the time the original alert was active.

so, no, i don't know what caused the disconnect, or the delay in the state change appearing in health explorer. very odd.

Re: SCOM07 Proliant MP troubleshooting

Alerts show up in about 5 minutes after the event occurs. State changes may take 15 minutes, so it├в s possible you will see the Alert and not see an immediate state change.

Re: SCOM07 Proliant MP troubleshooting

this was more like an hour or two, at least. i don't know because i stopped continuously looking. the "down" alert had been active for about 30 minutes when it was brought to my attention, and there were no state changes then, and no state changes after i had enough time to post this problem in several forums. when is the next version of the proliant MP coming out? will it be better at closing alerts when monitored states go back to green?
