HPE ProLiant Servers Achieve Common Criteria Certification on RHEL 7

For nearly two decades, the HPE and Red Hat partnership has yielded products and services that support our customers’ most demanding IT needs. In fact, HPE is the only Red Hat partner to sell Red Hat Enterprise Linux subscriptions with HPE branded support providing customers with one stop and one call for both hardware and OS support. Now, HPE and Red Hat are jointly announcing that the entire line of HPE ProLiant servers achieved Common Criteria Certification on Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7.

“Security is a constant concern for government, financial, and other security-sensitive customers. Achieving the EAL 4+ certification across the entire line of HPE ProLiant servers with Red Hat Enterprise Linux ensures our customers meet stringent government security standards.”
-- Scott Farrand, VP Platform Software, Hewlett Packard Enterprise

But it doesn't stop there. HPE and Red Hat are achieving performance leadership in several of the latest benchmarks including the new TPC-BB benchmark (Big Data). And to deliver proven configurations on the technologies most important to our customers, HPE and Red Hat continue to develop Reference Architectures based on complimenting technologies including Hadoop, Red Hat Ceph Storage, Red Hat OpenStack Platform and SAP HANA.

Red Hat is a long term strategic partner to HPE and an important part of our technology ecosystem. In fact, many HPE customers have standardized their infrastructure on Red Hat technologies. HPE continually collaborates with Red Hat in the development, certification, marketing and sales of Red Hat Enterprise Linux as well as other of their leading edge technologies across our businesses to provide customer choice and maintain a healthy partnership within the entire ecosystem. Working together, HPE and Red Hat have helped customers build on open platforms, leading to massive cost savings, without compromising security, performance, or scalability.
