Introductions please!

Since this is a new forum within the HP Enterprise Business community, let's get better acquainted.  Feel free to post your name, what you do, and which certifications you hold.  If you’re just starting out, you could list which ones you want to achieve, or just learn about.

Re: Introductions please!

I'm Steve, owner and consultant at Vergeware. My interest in additional learning and participation stems from understanding the complexities in securing internal and external clouds (datacenters, virtual infrastructures, authentication mechanisms, etc.).

Re: Introductions please!

I am William, and IT professional with over 10 years of experience. I am a Cisco Certified Network Associate(CCNA) and Microsoft Certified Information Technology Professional (MCITP): Server and Enterprise Administrator. I also hold other Industry certifications including CompTIA ( A+, Network+, Server+, and Security+) and ITIL V3 Foundations.

I am interested in learning more about HP Converged Infrastructure Solutions through HP ExpertONE program. I hope this will be a handy resource for meeting fellow experts and exchanging ideas about various field experiences in implementing HP IT technology solutions.

Re: Introductions please!

Hi Grant,

Thank you for joining!  And in answer to your question, the details for the board exams in terms of schedules, locations, etc., will be finalized over the coming month or two.  I'll be sure to provide updates to our plans in this forum as the details are locked down.

Re: Introductions please!

My name is Scott Hysmith, and I've been in the QA field since 1987.  I hold the ASE certification in Quality Center and in Performance Center, and am an HP Certified Instructor.  I'm hoping that the software cert holders show up and make a bigger presence than in the last community--aside from the OpenView crowd the BTO certs seem to get less attention, and the CIs aren't even on the site at all.

Re: Introductions please!

Hi Christopher,

Check out www.hp.com/go/expertone for information about certification and training.   Along the left navigation bar, you'll  find "Get Started" which will guide you through the process of registering as a learner, etc.  (you likely will want to register as a "customer" which also includes "end users"; the partner registration is for channel partners).

After you've had an opportunity to browse the site and get a sense of what you're interested in, feel free to stop back by here with questions!

Thank you for your message...look forward to chatting with you further.
