What are HP knowledge credits?

how to earn them? ( I've seen traning sessions that says I can earn if I join those sessions) 

what is the use of them?

Partners holding or working toward a Hewlett Packard Enterprise Partner Ready Silver, Gold, or Platinum Specialist designation can receive credit for their investment of time and learning in a variety of learning activities like HPE events, training courses, product introduction webinars, and other activities in our curated Knowledge Credit program. Consult the Knowledge Credit Quick Reference Guide for information on how to enroll in the program and get started.

Ok I get it. I read the document. So HP knowledge credits (kc)  are only beneficial to the company in which the individual who obtains the KC is working in but not for the individual?
