Why you need to upgrade to the latest HPE Server Solution Architect certifications
The move to the cloud is accelerating, and, within three years, a large majority of enterprise corporations will shift from building IT solutions to consuming IT solutions. The result will see a significant workload shift from in-house premise to hybrid cloud infrastructures. Are your skills, competencies, and certifications current? Enterprises will need your help transitioning workloads to the cloud.
In a recent survey by McKinsey&Company “IT as a service: From build to consume”, the authors note an overall shift from build to consume with the largest growth expected in off-premise environments. (see Exhibit 1).
Skill Requirements
Companies moving from build to consume require teams of IT professionals with the right skills. From recommending and positioning solutions, working with budgets, managing TCO (total cost of ownership), to deploying HPE Synergy and HPE OneView, human resources departments know the skill sets required, from implementation to long-term management of cloud infrastructures and applications.
HPE Master ASE – Advanced Server Solutions Architect v3 certified professionals possess the business acumen skills and competencies required to recommend and position solutions. You can expect new deployments to be on new hardware, specifically the HPE Servers For Cloud Gen9 portfolio and managed with HPE OneView. Both the latest Gen9 servers and HPE OneView V3 skills and competencies are new to the v3 Server Solutions Architect certifications.
Also new to the HPE Master ASE – Advance Server Solutions Architects v3 certification is Integrity, Apollo and Moonshot skills and competencies. You will be leading proof of concept activities, determining customer technical, financial and business requirements as well as defining the anticipated ROI/TCO of the recommended solution. HPE Master ASE – Advance Server Solutions Architects are the team leaders responsible for the ASE and ATP certified professionals deploying cloud-based solutions. It is clear that the number of servers and storage shipments for on-premise solutions are rapidly shrinking and those with the skills and competencies will be leading the way as large enterprises move to the cloud.
HPE – ASE Server Solutions Architect v3 certified professionals now have HPE Synergy as well as Apollo solutions skills and competencies. You can also expertly integrate HPE's ProLiant Generation 9 Tower, Rack and BladeSystem server solutions into a customer’s cloud-based environment. You will also be the go-to person on the team responsible for the configuration and management of HPE OneView.
HPE – ATP Server Solutions Architect v3 certified professionals now have the skills and competencies required to deploy HPE BladeSystem server solutions. You will be responsible for configuration, installation, and deployment of HPE ProLiant Gen9 servers in the datacenter.
What stood out for me the most from the Mckinsey&Company survey is the fact that most of the respondents have a lack of in-house cloud talent. As the need fro hybrid clouds grows, so will the need for certified professionals with the right skill sets, competencies and industry leading certifications.
