Transfer some nubmers to a specific extension with v3000
Hi, I have a v3000 with R6_5_22 and I want to know how to transfer certain inbound calls to different extensions depending on the number or area code the call is arriving from. is there a way to do this? If I need another piece of hardware please tell me which one...

There isn't a way to do anything with the caller ID or ANI - just the DID/DNIS. This also means you can't BLOCK a number based on source, which is a somewhat common request. You would need some sort of 3rd party hardware upstream of your system to hand that sort of translation. I've never needed it that bad, so I'm unfortunately not going to be of any help in that regard.
