Adding Multiple CPU for LH4 server
I'm trying to add one more CPU xeon 550mhz for my Lh4 netserver which was working on the other server i can just see only one processor is detected & is there any switch i need to configure?
Note: If i remove from bottom slot & add new one works fine but only one is detected at a time
Thanks

Re: Adding Multiple CPU for LH4 server
AFAIK there is no need to set any switches to let the LH4 detect the new CPU.
How you ,,see'' that only one processor has been detected. The front panel will be updated late. So after installation it will first display the old state of the machine.
I dont know when it is updated but I would think it is done after POST.
Are both processors are the same type ?
