Adding alternative video card to LD Pro?
I have stuck in a Matrox Mill II, and It is being picked up by win2k.
But
I cannot seem to get the card to be the primary display, I have disabled the on-board in the bios and in win2k, but still nothing. I need to get more than 16 colours on this box, some of the software I want to run wont even install without 256!
Any help gratefully received!
TIA

Re: Adding alternative video card to LD Pro?
Separate from configuration settings via ECU there is also a video disable (dip) switch that needs to be set in order to use an alternative video card correctly. It's switch 8. It disables the on-board video. (Pull the casing off the machine and on the mother board side of the machine you should be able to see the 8 pole switch. It maybe white in colour. Toggle it.)
Good Luck,
PB
